Q. Do you offer a sample program so that I can select between different styles and sizes, if I'm uncertain?
A. Of course! Our objective is for you to have access to a selection of fine-quality, value-priced incontinence products. We understand that sometimes it is difficult to choose between two styles, or two sizes in a particular style.
When you are faced with such uncertainty, why not use our sample selection program.
Most of our products are available as samples. You may select any available products - they can be from different manufacturers, varying styles, or two sizes of the same product.
The charge for your product sample selection is $3.75 per sample, which includes shipping and handling. Samples are sent US Postal Service Priority Mail.
When ordering, note that each item has a corresponding sample order number. Simply enter the appropriate numbers (beginning with an "S"), and follow the shopping cart procedure to promptly receive your product samples. If ordering two sizes of the same product, make sure to enter the item as two separate selections with differing size attributes.
Q. Is there any benefit to being a loyal customer?
A. Absolutely! No business can be successful without loyal customers, and we certainly need you.
Why not join our program called "Refer a Friend . . . Receive a Gift". It is designed to reward valued customers who encourage their friends to order from us.
All that you need to do is spread the word as a satisfied customer. If someone you referred orders from us, make sure to remind them to include your complete name, city and state on the PayPal order form; the "review your payment" section has a box to "add special instructions to merchant" - your referred customer should put your information in that area, noting that you referred them. Once we fill your friend's order, we will promptly forward your thank you gift to you.
There is no limit to the number of times in which you can go through the referral process. We welcome all referrals and will gladly recognize our customers' loyalty.
Q. Do you have the incontinence product style and size that I need?
A. We make every effort to carry an extensive range of sizes and style varieties which would be suitable for most people. There are also a few products which have been developed especially for men, and children, with an incontinence situation. Check our category listings to locate these specialty incontinence items.
Q. Is your site safe for me to give my credit card information?
A. Yes! We use a double layer of security in an effort to provide our customers with maximum protection.
First, this site is provided a shared SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) certificate by our web hosting service. Whether a shared or private SSL certificate, the level of protection is the same; they provide an equal layer of security by encrypting a visitor's private information.
Second, your confidential information is further protected by this site's use of the PayPal payment service. PayPal, in addition to verifying our company's legitimacy, utilizes industry-leading security and fraud-prevention systems to protect your financial information. In fact, by ordering with PayPal, your financial information is not even shared with our company.
Our concern for your protection does not mean that the ordering process is more complicated for you. The check-out page carries you directly to our PayPal processor, and you can easily return to our site to receive your order confirmation number after your order is completed. Also, note that our company name, The Bermaelyn Group, LLC, appears on our PayPal pages and on your receipt.
Q. How do I calculate the shipping charges?
A. No calculation is necessary. Every order shipped within the continental United States receives free shipping. There are no minimums, maximums, weights or dimensions to measure, or gimmicks involved.
Orders received typically ship by the following business day (not Saturdays, Sundays or legal holidays), and samples may take a bit longer to process. We ship from five warehouses (and growing!) located throughout the country so the delivery time does not usually exceed three days after the shipment date. Generally, orders are shipped using either United Parcel Service (UPS) or Federal Express (FedEx); sample orders are sent United States Postal Service (USPS) Priority Mail. On occasion, however, it does become necessary for us to use another common carrier; this does not affect the shipping charge.
Should any item be back-ordered, email notification will be sent promptly indicating the approximate shipping date.
If a shipment is split in our effort to facilitate fulfillment, there is no additional shipping charge.
Q. If I place an order for someone else, can you ship to them directly?
A. Yes, also with free shipping. We can ship directly to any location in the continental United States, other than to a postal box. Certainly we would be willing to work with you to accommodate individual shipping needs. Note that the check-out section includes a box to be checked if your order is to be shipped to a different address, and then make sure to include the correct shipping information.
Q. What is incontinence and how do I know if I have it?
A. Incontinence can be defined as an inability to contain or restrain a natural discharge.
The leakage which warrants the use of an appropriate incontinence product is really the symptom, and not the problem itself. For a resolution of the problem, a determination of its cause and the correct course of treatment, consultation with a medical professional is advised.
The cause of incontinence may be physical or perhaps even emotional; the leakage may be constant and ongoing, or it may be sporadic in response to certain behavior or changes in habits. However, regardless of the problem, its cause and treatment, you have the opportunity to find greater comfort when using the products offered within this site.
Q. Are there any good sources of information online about incontinence?
A. If you Google the phrase "incontinence information" you will receive thousands of responses.
Although we do not furnish any medical advice, there are three widely recognized sites which may be of interest: www.SimonFoundation.org, www.NAFC.org, and www.webmd.com/urinary-incontinence-oab/. The first two sites are presented by non-profit organizations focused on incontinence, and the third is well-known as an online consumer medical source.
Q. Do you guarantee your products?
A. We offer a "best effort" guarantee. We are not able to make any representations or guarantees covering the features, the levels of protection, or any other information supplied about products manufactured by other companies. However, we warrant that we make a best effort attempt to present current and accurate information as it has been supplied to us.
Q. Are there any other warranties that I should know about?
A. As much as we would like to warrant that there will never be any problems with this site, that there will never be typographical errors, incorrect pricing or product descriptions, or product discontinuations, we cannot guarantee perfection. Again, we make every attempt to prevent problems from occurring. And if a problem does arise, we warrant that we will work to resolve the situation quickly.
Q. Who is The Bermaelyn Group, LLC, I thought that I was ordering from yourpersonalcomfort.com?
A. The Bermaelyn Group, LLC is the actual name of our company. It is the name at the bottom of each page referencing the copyright information. And, more importantly to you, it is the name which appears on your order receipts, credit card statements and shipping labels.
Although we use the company name frequently, our objective is to enhance your personal comfort at every opportunity, so we use our web site name, yourpersonalcomfort.com, as often as possible.
